My Sweet Girl

My 12 year old loves to watch cooking shows, especially Ace of Cakes. Recently, she was given a cake decorating tool and couldn't wait to use it. She bought everything she needed and baked her dad and me this Anniversary cake tonight, placing it on one of the new cake dishes she was given by someone for Christmas. Our anniversary is tomorrow and we're looking forward to digging into this chocolate delight. Isn't it pretty?


Here's a side view....she let Harrison put on some chocolate chips. I think that to be her first decorative cake, she did a GREAT job!

And isn't she just so thoughtful to do this for her parents? My sweet girl!
