Why I Believe In Eternal Security Part III

The verses that prove our status in Jesus are these:

Forgiven...Romans 4:7, "Saying, "BLESSED ARE THEY WHOSE INIQUITIES ARE FORGIVEN, AND WHOSE SINS ARE COVERED."
I John 2:12, "I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake."

Justified...Romans 5:1,9 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;....Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."
Titus 3:7 "That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

Risen with Christ...Romans 6:3-6 "Know ye not, that so many of us that were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin."
Colossians 3:1,2 "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth."

Reconciled...Romans 5:10 "For if, then we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."

Accepted in the beloved...Ephesians 1:6 "To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved."

Saved...Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast."
II Timothy 1:9 "Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began."

Citizens of Heaven...Philippians 3:20 "For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lrod Jesus Christ:"

Children of Light...I Thessalonians 5:5 "Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness."

Not of the world...John 17:16 "They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world." (That was Jesus speaking.)

Elect...I Peter 1:2 "Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you and peace, be mulitiplied."

Born again...I Peter 1:23 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth for ever."

New Creation...II Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new."

Complete in Him...Colossians 2:10 "And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:"

Sanctified in Christ...I Corinthians 1:2 "Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:"

Light in the Lord...Ephesians 5:8 "For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:"

A child of God forever...Romans 8:15 "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."
Galatians 4:4-7 "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ."
I John 3:1 "BEHOLD, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not."

Made fit for Heaven...Colossians 1:12 "Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:"
