Visit From Daddy....Shhhhhhhhhh
While mom was at work, daddy decided his truck needed gas. So he snuck out of his house to pick up Justin so Justin could pump the gas for him.
I really don't like daddy driving right now, but he's going to do what he wants to do anyway, so I guess if he feels he can do it, you just gotta let him do it. (Love you, daddy.)
When he got back from filling his truck up with gas, he came in for a little snack of raisins.
Nice smile, huh? As you can see, his sense of humor has been unscathed during his illness.
His truck was slightly on the dirty side, so the kids washed and vacuumed it for him.
Apparently, the kids were taking too long because daddy became worried that mom was going to come home from work and find him gone. He high-tailed it out of here in his clean and gassed truck, made it home in time to park his truck where it was when mom left for work, throw a cornbread into the oven, and slip back into his recliner with the blanket over him just like she left him before she got home.
Little did he know, I was going to let the cat out of the bag. Nice try, though, dad.
