A Wee Rant

I was listening to a Christian radio station today. Why? I really don't know. The topic was adolescent witchery in today's society and whether or not it was good for our Christian children to be exposed to it. They had a "Doctor of Religion" on there that had the intelligence of a box of rocks. He said it's all right for children to read books on witchcraft and scorcery and to experiment with chants and rituals as long as they are properly supervised by their parents because Daniel was taken from his home and made to serve and learn in a society where there was much witchery and scorcery. He studied with the children of that society and learned their behavior. It was good for him and God used his knowledge to help the king later. This "Doctor" said that exposing our children to such things would enable our Christian children to better understand their classmate or co-worker to know how to be a better wittness to them.

HELLO????? Knock, knock!! Anybody home??????

First of all, Daniel was put in that society. He had no choice. And he was put there by God and God stayed close to him during those years. Our Christian children today have a choice on whether or not to be part of such Satanic groups.

And has this so-called "Doctor of Religion" forgotten what the scripture says?

Deuteronomy 18:10 - 13, "There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
Or a charmer, or a counsulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a
necromancer.
For all that do these things are an ABOMINATION unto the LORD: and because these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Thou shalt be PERFECT with the LORD thy God."
