Our Easter Weekend

These pictures aren't in order of the days they were taken, but I wanted to start out with our bus ministry pictures from Saturday. It was amazing to see how many children and adults showed up for the bus ministry Easter service and fun day.

The front of the bus ministry was decorated with Easter scenes and verses.

Pastor Goodman came in to preach for the bus ministry.

There were 159 children in attendance during the service. We estimate that with bus ministry workers and parents that came with or brought their children there were about 180 in attendance in all. This picture was taken before the blue and white bus made it in.

Brother Troy was dealing with these young men after the service.

This is my class. I help Mrs. Ava teach the first and second graders.

The children were given an opportunity to hunt eggs. The eggs had pieces of paper inside of them to let them know if they won a prize.

Their Easter meal consisted of fried chicken, green beans, corn on the cob, rolls, mac-n-cheese, and dessert.

They enjoyed their meal very much.

FRIDAY
Brother RJ and Mrs. Liz planned an activity to Frankie's Fun Park in Greenville, SC. The kids seemed to have a really good time. There were certainly enouth things to do to keep them from getting bored.
The first thing most of them did was ride go-karts.

SUNDAY
The children woke up to their Easter baskets on the table. We filled the "tool" boxes Bruce had made a couple of weeks ago and they turned out really cute.

Easter Sunday always means an Easter parade at our church. This has been going on for years. Every child in the church marches across the platform. It's really kind of funny. LOL

Daddy has a tendency to spill his food on his clean clothes, so mom made sure he was ready this time. :)

My parents always hide eggs for the grandchildren. Bruce had just finished hiding some.

Justin found the GOLDEN EGG that had the wod of money in it. To his disappointment, the wod was only a dollar. LOL
We had a really wonderful weekend. The Lord was good in our services. There were many testimonies and singing and Pastor preached two GREAT messages. The entire day was wonderful. Mrs. April Rollins stood up in church last night and testified that she knew Christ was living, but she also knew He was living in HER. I'm glad He lives in me too. I hope He lives in you.
