Looooooooooooooong Sunday

Our Sunday began at 5:45 AM. Hannah woke me up so we could try an experiment that Brother Greg told her about yesterday. I'll have to research this, but we at least wanted to try it while we had the window of opportunity.

There's something about the equinox, that twice a year, you can stand an egg up and it won't fall over. Brother Greg and Mrs. Janet had a bunch of pictures they took of their experiment. This happens in the spring and fall. Pretty neat, huh?

This is our Sunday school teacher, Brother Ken.

From left to right is Pam, Amy (the mature person in the class), and Amy's husband Bryan. I'm mad at him, but we won't EVEN go into that right now.

When we came down from Sunday school, guess who was there...Daddy!!!! It was so good to see him in his place and he was thrilled and happy to be there. Touched in Spirit and blessed to be a part of another service. It was all over his face!

After morning service, we went down to the fellowship building where Chelsy was having a birthday party. This is Angie patting patties. GOOD PATTIES, ANGIE!!! ;)

Chelsy's cake. Happy Birthday, Chelsy! We love you! You're a sweet girl and we're glad you're Hannah's friend.

Joseph D was enjoying his lunch. He allowed me to feed him a few bites, but then wanted his mommy to finish. I guess he didn't like the way I was doing it or something. lol

These are the youngin's enjoying themselves.

Clayton was messin'. What are you doing, Clayton? Are you being good or getting into stuff??

Chelsy blowing out her candles. Did you make a wish, Chelsy? What was it?

Brother Jim and Angie serving up the cake, which was REALLY good, except Mrs. Angie shorted me on the icing. But she let me have an end piece.......after I complained about it. Thanks, Angie! You're a good friend. I'll have that peanut butter candy for ya next week.
;)

Harrison enjoyed his cake too.

And I have NO idea what this look on Bruce's face is about, but this is another picture of him that makes me giggle. So I had to show it.

We stayed at the fellowship building playing Chinese Writing and Whale's Tails until it was time for us to be back at church at 4:30 for bluegrass practice and youth choir practice.

From left to right is Brother Gene, Bruce, and Mark.

Brother Wayne

And Crystal. The banjo picker wasn't there for practice. But I'll get him next time. Click Crystal's picture to hear us practice Have A Little Faith.

From left to right is Kendra, Justin, and LeAnna. They did a trio with the Youth Choir, but Kendra did the solo parts on the verses and she did a fantastic job. She has such a pretty voice and the three of them blended nicely together.

A bunch of kids didn't show up for practice. They must have missed the announcement about practice. But we still had a good many there. Click the picture to hear them practice Something Worth Living For.

I am so tired. It's been a great day, filled with many blessings from the Lord. Don't you just love days like that?
