Rush Night Workday

This post has been edited, per suggestion of my mother. I had pictures of our decorations but mom said I should wait until next week to post them. So I took them off. Sorry people! She's right.

SIGMA Rush Night is next Sunday night. This year, we're doing Rush Night in the Fellowship building instead of the gymnasium, so our construction has been greatly reduced. We had a workday today and our last workday is next Saturday, with Rush following the evening service. The kids seem to be excited about it. I was proud of the ones that were eager to get to work and see something accomplished. The ones that were serious about being busy, got busy and worked hard.

Evan, one of our new kids in SIGMA (12yo), did the wings for our team banner.
Taylor and Evan outlined the wings and, Lord willing, this Thursday night, a couple of the girls on our team will meet to finish it.

GREAT JOB, EVAN!!! Thank you so much.

Bruce and Brother Jeff went to the store for some chicken wire we needed to help consstruct a mountain. While they were away, the kids tried to figure out a way to build an Eagle's nest to sit on top of the mountain.
Cassie had a GREAT idea on how to build it. When Bruce and Brother Jeff returned, Bruce suggested the same idea Cassie had. Cassie was thrilled that they had the same idea and that her idea was being put to use.

I can't wait to see their finished prodcut. They've done a terrific job so far.
