Stuff
We had bluegrass practice last night so I took a few candid shots.
This is Mark. He's a teenager in this group and plays the doghouse bass. He's really good on that thing!
This is Brother Gene. He's the one that heads up our songs.
This is Brother Chris sporting his brand new dobro. He was so proud! Brother Chris and his wife Dana are also SIGMA sponsors.
Tonight at SIGMA, we played a game that I found at Anne's blog. The kids had to peel a banana, cut it up in pieces and sew it back together with a needle and thread. Then they had to sew it back into the peel. But first they had to be taught how to thread the needle!
For some reason this picture cracks me up the most. I think it's because of how Clint (third boy on the left) is watching Clayton (second boy on the right) sew, like he's trying to figure out what to do. LOL
The adults standing here watching the kids sew are Brother RJ, our youth Pastor and Dana, a sponsor.
What is it about a camera these days that makes a youth want to give the "gansta" sign? Am I the only one that has noticed that recently?
Sew, sew, sew! If they still taught sewing in homec, many teachers would be proud.
Here is Parker, obviously proud of his workmanship.

Elizabeth's mother will be ever so proud to know that her daughter didn't sew the banana to her sleeve.
This is Katherine. She sings the low alto in the Daughter's of Faith. I don't want to call it bass. What do we call it for a girl anyway?
