He's Back!

Justin made it safely home from camp this afternoon. His cheeks were red form the sun and it was so good to see him. His birthday is Sunday and I can hardly believe he'll be 14.

The camp he attended this year was Mount Moriah. It is owned and operated by Crown College of Tennessee, Brother Clarence Sexton's school. Justin said the Lord dealt with him on Monday about some things and that the Lord burdened his heart, especially for one little boy here on our street. His name is Tyler. Please pray for Justin as he witnesses to Tyler and pray for Tyler that he will open his heart to what the Lord would have Justin say to him.

For all of those who are wondering, last year Justin came home from camp and jumped in our van. I said, "Justin, where are your bags?" He said, "Oh yeah! They're on the trailer." So he gets out of the van and waits for all the luggage to be taken off the trailer. Guess what? No luggage for Justin. No sleeping bag for Justin. No pillow for Justin. All he had with him was the clothes he was wearing and his Bible. At least he remembered his Bible! The camp was kind enough to send back his bag and Hannah brought home his pillow and sleeping bag when she went to camp a couple of weeks later. A few months later our choir sang at a church in Elizabethton, TN and when we got home he realized he had left his dress shoes at the hotel. We never saw those again. LOL Well, this year, you'll be happy to know, he brought EVERYTHING back and in good condition. YAY! We've had a breakthrough!

On a sadder note, the door for the batteries on his camera would't stay shut and therefore he could not get any pictures. The camera kept shutting off because of it. I am so disappointed in that, but hey, at least he brought his camera back!

We'll be celebrating his birthday Saturday with cake and ice cream. His Grandparents will be coming as well as his buddy Jeremey and my husband's baby brother and his two sons. They're in from Virginia Beach this weekend for his sister-in-law's baby shower. He is an officer in the USNavy. I should have pictures to share tomorrow night.

Hope you all have a great Saturday!
