~Big Day~

Tipsy woke me at 5:30 this morning needing to "go out." So we went out and when we came back in she wanted to play for an hour....lovely! Just about the time she got calmed down, she heard Bruce's keys in the door and got excited all over again. She loves her daddy.

Amanda had an appointment today and dropped Celine off here for a little while. It was good to have her back with us. We miss her. When Amanda picked her up, we got to visit with her and the new baby. Oh dear, what a cutie!!

Mary Elizabeth showed up and she and Harrison watched a video we got from the library. Daddy had a doctor's appointment today and it was going to be several hours so he brought his puppy over here, Tipsy's sister, and they played all day long. Seriously. Between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM, I think they had a one hour reprieve. They gnawed on each other so much, their fur was wet. It was hilarious. But they did enjoy their time together.

When Mary Elizabeth's Grandmother picked her up, I finished preparing supper and got ready for the graduation we were attending tonight. There were two graduates we know that graduated from Cramerton Christian Academy. Rebecca S and Bradley R. They were so happy to be graduating. Congratulations, y'all!!

Every night when Bruce leaves for work I try to be here to say good-bye to him. I'll kiss him at the door, on the porch, down the steps, on the sidewalk, and several times at the truck. Then I'll stand on the porch and flick the porch light on and off for him as he drives away. And when nights like tonight come and I'm not here to send him on his way, I miss him terribly! So when we left the graduation we went to where he works and waited in the parking lot until he got there. We all piled out of the car and kissed him goodnight. He was so happy that we did that. My hubby loves attention from his family. He's so funny.
