WOW

Brother Joe Arthur preached last night and I will never look at a rose the same way. He used a rose as his illustration for Christ being the Rose of Sharon. He held the rose and talked about its beauty and Christ's life and ministry were beautiful. Then he took the rose and began to tear it apart like they tore Jesus apart at the crucifixion. When he was finished, though, his hands were covered in red from the oils in the rose and though his hands were covered they still smelled beautiful like the rose. He told how the rose of sharon does not have thorns and so when they placed the crown of thorns on the Rose of Sharon's head, it was not because he put them there, but because man put them there. There were red petals all over the place. Then he talked about how beautiful Christ's resurrection was and out from no where, pulled out a beautiful white rose. It was a great message!!! One everyone should hear.

Three people were saved last night from our Pastor's former church in Georgia. PTL!!!
