Lunch and Roses

Since Bruce works second shift, he and I have a standing date for lunch on Friday. Not to mention he'll be going to third shift soon so we're enjoying our afternoons while we can. Anyway, when I got home from cleaning mom's house, he finished up the bills and we left to eat at a Japanese restaurant here in town. He thinks it's crazy that I pick out all of my peas and put them to the side. But I don't do peas....or lima beans for that matter. I did eat my carrots though.

Before eating, we stopped at the ATM to make some transfers and noticed that our little town now has a Roses Department Store. I honestly didn't think we would ever see another Roses in this area, but I guess they're haning' in there, even though Wal Mart monopolizes the department store industry. We were both very surprised to see them there.

Hannah did some babysitting with Taylor tonight for some couples in our church. She said the kids were a riot. I was glad she and Taylor were able to babysit together. When I picked her up, all the little ones were nestled in bed or in a soft cozy spot dreaming their little cares away. They looked so sweet.

We have a brunch planned with Bruce's family tomorrow morning and then plans tomorrow afternoon. So I should actually have some pics to share with you over the weekend.
