Ahhhhh

The kids and I were invited to a church member's home for a dip in the pool. It was a great way to beat the heat today.

We were all sitting on the deck eating lunch when we noticed seven or eight of these guys under the arm of a lounging chair. Needless to say, no one was brave enough to sit there.


We had a really good time today. It was nice to spend time with people from our church and take a dip in the pool. Winning a game of water volleyball was the highlight for me. And then, of course, a game of marbles later.

Hannah was supposed to have piano this evening but her piano teacher is sick so we missed that this evening. Hannah was sort of relieved because the hymn she's working on is a bit hard for her so knowing she had another week of practicing it made her happy.

We have a pretty busy weekend ahead of us. I hope you have a great one.
