Wal Mart Joins Hands With the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce

I found out this evening and have checked out some news article that have also said that Wal Mart has joined hands with the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. I don't know about you, but I have just had it with Wal Mart.

I have sent an email to the Wal Mart Corporate Office and hope that you will do the same.

This is a copy of the email I sent them.

I am a member of a ladies discussion website and there was a discussion posted in our General Topics about Wal Mart partnering up with the Gay and Lesbian group, NGLCC.

As a valued and faithful customer of Wal Mart, I would like to advise you to back out of this union.

Wal Mart has always been a family friendly store. Built on solid TRADITIONAL family values. It is a shame and disgrace that the company would join hands with the NGLCC. Sam Walton would never have approved of this union.

Don't you realize that gay and lesbians make up only 2% of your American Shoppers? Conservative Christians make up your majority shoppers. We (Christians) spoke out last year when the word "CHRISTmas" was not allowed to be used by your employees, and we are speaking out now. Get out of bed with the homosexuals, or you will see a massive drop in sales. OUR tolerance is running low with Wal Mart.

Do I believe that shopping at KMart or my locally owned stores is worth the few cents or a couple of dollars more for items purchased needed or desired? You bet I do! In the long run, we end up paying about the same for everything anyway. Wal Mart is merely convenient for it being a Supercenter. I, for one, do not mind a little inconvenience in taking a stand against this union with the NGLCC.
