They Will Rise

With Easter just around the corner I can't help but think about the rising of the Saints. Can you imagine what it would be like to see the body of a loved one gone before, come walking and talking through the front door? There is so much pain and grief associated with death that if we were to see that happen, we would probably faint or check ourselves into an insane assylum. And yet, we as Christians wait patiently for that very day. They won't walk through the front door, but they will be caught up in the sky. Perfect and whole as though never touched by death. And we will be right behind them.

I Thessalonians 4:16

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first."
