Happy Birthday, Baby Boy!

Today is my oldest son's birthday. He is fifteen years old.

Justin was born at the Army base hospital in Wiesbaden, Germany.

He was a wonderful little boy that has grown into a really wonderful teenager. We have been so blessed to have him in our lives.

Justin was saved when he was five and made assurance of that when he was thirteen.

He will be in the tenth grade this fall and has been homeschooled from day one. A decision that has left us with no regrets.

Justin plays the trumpet in our church orchestra, the guitar and harmonica in our church bluegrass groups, and has recently started playing the bass guitar and doghouse base. He sings in a gospel group, The Sons of Faith, works in the rest home ministry, is an active member in our bus ministry, and is a Junior Usher.

His hobbies include being with his friends, playing on the computer, being a big brother, and anything that includes outdoors. Such as sports, paintball, shooting guns, etc.

He tries to make himself friendly to everyone, but his true friends include some of the finest boys I know. And when they're together they bring lots of laughter and joy to all of us.

He is spending his birthday today at Carowinds, helping Brother Daniel and Mrs. Meghan with some of the top scorers in our bus ministry.

Happy Birthday, Justin. We love you very much!
