Jackie

I just got an update on little Jackie from her Aunt that we go to church with. Jacquelyn is still in a great deal of pain and still in need of a great deal of prayer.

Hey Kristi,

They were supposed to perform surgery today to drain the cysts, but the MRI they took yesterday came out blury. Needless to say, she is not having her surgery today.
I called Beth earlier this morning and she said that they wanted to wait until all of her pancreas levels came down before they do the surgery, probably about two weeks. They still do not know what the problem is or how it all happened. They have never seen anything like this in someone Jacquelyn's age. They do know that she has two cysts, one on the tube running from her liver to her pancreas and the other right behind her pancreas. She is in a lot of pain, so they have been giving her pain medication through her IV every six hours or so. However, they are going to have to cut back the dosage to as needed because the pain medication could cause her liver to fail.
Beth has asked me to pray for two things specifically: Jacquelyn's pain and patience. Maybe you could help us pray for these things too. Thanks.

Love ya, Meghan
