Lots of Rain
You know spring is well on it's way when you get a day of steady falling rain. Today we certainly had our share of it. I don't know that it ever stopped. Our front yard is a mush pit. LOL
This morning I met with the homeschoolers in our church at the church gymnasium to clean it up for our Pastor's 20th Anniversary party Sunday night. I spent most of my time sweeping and mopping the gym floor. I didn't do it by myself, mind you, but I certainly did my fair share! I also got to hold baby Abigale for a while. She's so sweet! Mrs. Janet, our church secretary, picked us up in the church van and took us to Golden Corral for lunch. The food and fellowship was good. And the gym looked way better when we left than when we first showed up!
After lunch I came home with another headache. I don't know where the migraine came from a particular Sunday two weeks ago, but I do know that a knot came up in my shoulder and it has become the source of this headache that just won't go away. And I can't find my massager!! So I'm REALLY looking forward to my time Saturday at our ladies "day at the spa" LOL
I really didn't want to go grocery shopping because of the rain, but decided we would take the van and I could just leave Justin with the groceries, pull to the doors and we could load them that way. We still got soaked, but at least I don't have to worry about shopping tomorrow. I'm thankful for that. I had some other things I wanted and needed to do today, but the weather was not what I wanted to be running around in. So hopefully I can get them done tomorrow.
I'm going to clean mom's house in the morning so Bruce took my car to put gas in it so I wouldn't have to get out in the rain again. That was so sweet of him. Thank you, honey!
I had about thirty to forty-five minutes of "me" time after supper tonight. It was so nice. I don't even know that my family missed me. They were all in their own worlds too.
