GoodBye Danaher, Hello Rockwell

Last night was Bruce's last night working at Danaher. He said everyone was really nice and really hated to see him leave.

One boy in particular, he showed special interest to last night. His name is Pete. The months that Bruce spent training him were very difficult for Bruce. Pete isn't saved, is young with no responsibilities at home, except for himself, and didn't try very hard to do the right things on his job. Bruce's tolerance level for people who don't think before doing something runs very low. But he did make it training Pete, with the Lord's help. LOL

Giving details of Pete's childhood is of no consequence, however, he does come from a very troubled background, born to a JW mother, who passed away when he was younger. It just went down hill from there.

Bruce has carried a laminated bookmark with the Gospel on it in his Bible for several years now. He had a moment with Pete last night and gave that bookmark to Pete. Told him that it held the secret to life. Both here on earth and eternity.

I don't believe that the Word of God has to be read straight from the KJV Bible to speak to a heart. So pray for Pete that he'll find what he's looking for in life on that little bookmark. It would thrill Bruce to see Pete in Heaven one day.
