Kind Friend, I wish for you

a package of courage
a bag of good humor
A mountain of wisdom
A sea of smiles
Quick eyes to see much
Soft words to turn away wrath
An antitote against the virus of self-love
Blocks of steadfastness which bend not
Sealed vaults to bury faults of friends
An unafraid heart to tell how Christ can save
A tongue wherein the law of kindness ever dwells -
